On top of the mountain of war crimes committed by the US over the decades, and its complicity in the war crimes of Israel in Gaza and the Lebanon, Trump is about to launch yet another monumental and monstrous war crime – the destruction of “a whole civilisation”, that is, a devastating bombardment of Iran, threatening to send over 90 million people back to the stone age.
Yet where is the condemnation by the various leaders of other countries?

The US and Israeli bombardments of Iran so far are in clear breach of international law, to which the United Nations and its member countries supposedly adhere.
The USA under Trump has shown that international law is simply the law of the most powerful, most boastful bully on the planet.
The so-called ‘democrats’ who defend capitalism have shown that they cannot defend democracy; they cannot defend even their own ‘rule of law’.
To create and defend real democracy, to end wars forever, we need a completely new system: Socialism, a system based on collective ownership of the world’s resources, where collaboration and peace is the natural order, rather than competition and deathly conflict.
